Stroller Strides

Classes offer a stroller workout that combines power walking, intervals of body toning using the stroller, the environment and exercise tubing. Throughout the class the children are engaged with songs and activities, creating a fun and enriching experience for all. The certified instructors are also moms and can read the face of a bad night or a restless baby and gear a fitness workout just for them. This kind of personalized touch provides not just a great workout but a great support system. All fitness levels are welcome- You create the intensity, Stroller Strides brings the fun! 2nd Annual Tanger 5K Run/Walk

Tanger wants to ensure that family fitness continues to be an important part of the future of our community. On Sunday, September 19, Tanger and L’eggs Hanes Bali Playtex/Hanesbrands will host the second annual Fit For Families 5K Run/Walk beginning at 8:30 am. Join your friends and neighbors as we all Get Moving Together for a great cause. Proceeds from each $25 entry fee will benefit the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition. Participants will receive a special 5k race pack which includes a Tanger 5k Run/Walk t-shirt (for the first 800 registered participants) and other goodies including bonus discount offers provided by many of the brand name stores at the Arches. Prizes, provided by Reebok, will be awarded to the top 3 female and top 3 male winners and everyone will be entered to win tons of fabulous prizes (must be present to win).
