Shopping Tax Free in Texas-TangerSTYLE!

ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL TRAVELERS! Shopping Tanger Outlets offers you brand names and savings! You may be eligible to receive a refund of the Texas Sales Tax you paid at select Tanger Outlet-San Marcos stores (Not all Tanger Outlet-San Marcos stores participate in the refund program).
TaxFree Shopping Ltd, a Texas Customs Broker, located in Suite 331-A (in corridor between Reebok and The Fudgery) will process your Texas sales receipts and refund your tax dollars, less a processing fee. To qualify for a Texas Sales Tax refund the following documentation must be presented at TaxFree Shopping:
Passport.
I-94 (White or green card in your passport).
U.S. Visa (If required for your country) or foreign voter picture identification card.
Boarding Pass/Flight Information (e-tickets are acceptable) showing your journey from Texas to the foreign country in which you reside (including any stops). If driving out of Texas and the United States no flight information is required.
Original sales receipts and purchased items.
ALL Purchased Items MUST be seen by the Tax Refund Center Associate.

Enjoy your shopping experience without the worry of parking or driving. AVA Volkswalk for Fun, Fitness & Friendship-TangerSTYLE!
Walking, also referred to as "volkswalking" is a non-competitive 3.1 mile walk. It's not a pledge walk, it's not a race. Walk at your own pace-fast or slow, window shop, explore and check out exciting new fashions and unique gadgets at Tanger stores all while having fun and getting fit! Meet new people and enjoy old friends! Your volkswalk "Starting Point" fun begins when registering in the Tanger Outlet Visitor Center, Suite 319 (next to Subway).
Founded in 1976, the American Volkssport Association is open to all Tanger customers. Local club or national membership is strictly optional. AVA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting non-competitive physical fitness, friendship and fun through volkssporting/walking events.

The Darnd'st Du is a 5K Run/30K Bike/5k Run through the countryside of San Marcos, Texas. It starts and finishes at Tanger Outlet Center. Proceeds from the event benefits CASA of Central Texas for neglected & abused children. Help us surpass last year's amount!

Texas' Tax Free Shopping Weekend

Texas shoppers get a break from state and local sales taxes on August 21st, 22nd & 23rd the state's annual tax holiday. For even bigger savings, shop Tanger Outlets during this statewide event and pay no state sales taxes on all clothing and footwear purchases individually priced at $100.00 or less.
Many Tanger stores will offer early bird openings and midnight closings. As the 2009 Tax Free shopping event nears stores will be listed.
Tanger's Tax Free Extended Store Hours will be:
Friday: 8 am - 10 pm
Saturday: 8 am - 10 pm
Sunday: 10 am - 7 pm
