Coming Soon! R/Evolution is a first-of-its-kind experiential pop-up shop offering consumers the opportunity to interact with online brands, direct-to-consumer and licensed brands - a new "R_Evolution" in the retail industry. The initiative will feature 12 different brands and 1 brand experience. Brands will rotate in and out of the shop at scheduled intervals, and all sales staff must facilitate that rotation without missing a beat on product knowledge or sales. Position Summary - This first-of-its kind store needs a motivated, results-driven Sales Manager. The successful candidate will understand what motivates customers to buy and know how to tap into those needs and desires in an effective way. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading an experienced team of Sales Representatives, including an Assistant Manager. General Duties: *Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly; *Quickly adapt to rotating brands in the store by learning product knowledge and ensuring the sales staff is effectively trained; *Accurately process payments from customers; issue receipts, refunds, credits, and for cash customers, change; *Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission; tabulates bills using calculators, cash register, and optical price scanners; *Operate a cash register and itemize and total purchases by recording prices, departments, taxable and nontaxable items; *Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and professional working environment; *Balance cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change; *Make nightly cash deposits at the designated bank depository; *Verify credit acceptance by reviewing and recording driver's license numbers; operates credit card authorization system; *Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers to generate business; *Manage the store schedule and ensure you are working peak sales hours, including some nights, weekends and holidays; *Submit weekly inventory counts on the POS system. Minimum requirements - *Be at least 21 years of age; *Must have a high school diploma or GED; *Previous retail experience, sales experience required; *Reliable transportation; *Proficiency in POS (Cashier) systems.
